In 2014 we were accepted by Rando Accueil, France's top website for CYCLING, WALKING and EQUESTRIAN destinations for accommodation.
Centre Le Page is a cycling day away from St Malo and Dinard in Le Quiou. Situated on Voie Verte V2 St Malo to Rhuys and 4 km from the V3, we have a great base for a cycling tour of this lovely part of Brittany and have secure indoor storage and maintenance facilities.
Vélo a louer! We also hire bicycles from 15€ per day and by arrangement can deliver them eg to the St Malo ferry terminal and collect them at the end, while also being able to ferry customers' luggage to us and back again.
Hop on the St Malo ferry from Portsmouth and you can get started on the great cycling opportunities of Northeast Brittany on your own bike or one of ours. Once in St Malo take the quick ferry to Dinard from St Malo and you’ll be alongside the River Rance heading south to us via wonderful medieval Dinan and Lehon with its castle and abbey.
There are plenty of varied cycle routes based from and around Centre Le Page which include a spin along the sprint section of the 2013 100th Tour de France at le Hinglé. And take in 5 times Tour champion Bernard Hinault’s home village of Calorguen on the way back.
Take a look at the cycle routes we can offer with Centre Le Page as base on the national Randonnée Accueil website. We have mapped some great routes available in this beautiful and interesting area of Brittany
2015 – TOUR de RANCE!!
Yes – Vintage style. 2015 will see the second annual Tour de Rance, this time in three different race categories from family to pro! Calorguen, where two of the three races start is only 7km from Centre Le Page.
Locally we have a beautiful old outdoor vélodrome, one of only three in Brittany, which you can explore at your peril!
We can supply you with the maps and packed lunches you need.
We are an established English and French-speaking venue for tour groups and have our own private sports hall with pool, bar football, badminton and table tennis, comfortable lounge presenting great value for money.
In Le Quiou we also have our very own Roman Villa under excavation, a bar and crêperie, with a water sports centre and beach volleyball just up the road.
On May 2nd 2014 the Tour de Bretagne came through Le Quiou and headed right for our centre.
Perhaps you'd like an exclusive seven-course banquet by arrangement or we can help you continue a teardrop cycle loop taking in Rennes with its serious nightlife in its medieval centre along the Ille-et-Vilaine canal?
